Re: Pussy-Gate. An Update.
Saudi Arabia execute 81 people and nothing is said, nothing will be said as Johnson is out there, cap in hand begging for oil.
Zouma kicks his own cat, gets fined, prosecuted etc and its breaking news. Amazing what mainstream media deem as newsworthy now.

I can’t believe that this makes headlines on both the BBC and Sky. It’s almost as though nothing else is happening in the world.

More headlines than Newcastles owners executing 81 people over the weekend.

Oh FFS we will now have endless people telling West Ham they should drop him.

I think we should drop him.

Drop him for all our matches between June and July.

Re: Pussy-Gate. An Update.
The point is that we have fucked ourselves PR wise at every stage. Which ought to be no surprise to anyone even vaguely familiar with GSB’s record.

What Zouma did was bad, I don’t see how anyone with an ounce of compassion for animals could say otherwise - and I’m not going to waste my time conversing with anyone who would, for the record. There are of course a number of unanswered questions but that is always the case with a social media pile-on.

We shouldn’t have played him against Watford - and from a footballing sense alone we shouldn’t have needed to. It reminds me of when we risked getting kicked out of the cup for bringing on Sakho because we couldn’t beat Bristol City without him. Whether or not you think that public opinion should influence decisions on the pitch it does nowadays, and if you’re not confident against Watford with a second-choice centre half then that says a lot. Particularly of course about our recent transfer policy.

After that we had the managed apology, then a club statement with the unnecessary claim that we had fined him ‘the maximum possible’ (not true, it was the maximum possible without making him unavailable to play, so a clear calculation) and the ridiculous situation of a claimed RSPCA donation which has been contradicted and the statement that ‘they do courses’ as if we all need an occasional reminder not to boot our furry friends across the kitchen.

If we had dropped him against Watford and made a strong statement then he would have been fine to play against Leicester without much fuss - mystery illness notwithstanding. Instead of that we have had a series of reactionary statements trying to paint the club in a good light after the fact. Sound familiar?

At the end of the day we have been left in a situation whereby we either play the Cat Kicker or everyone including the player brought in knows that we are expecting to lose. That’s a much wider failing than whether a Frenchman decides to be a knob on camera or not.

I was called a snivelling cunt by s griffin the other day.
Which made me laugh and revealed the frustration of some cat strokers who seemingly want to see West Ham players miss matches.
I asked N Sold why he was presenting as such an animal loving cat woman when he delights in watching horses snap their legs for his amusement.
Straight forward observation that infuriates some hypocrites.

We dont really need to hear any more about J Root at this desperate time for him.
Ashes humiliation and now has to return to Yorkshire to see his club staffed entirely by BAME coaches and administrators .... dont think any are called Kevin though

People misrepresent my views so I correct them.
This seems to be required often as many seem to get hysterical when their hypocrisy is pointed out.
Its boring but there you go.

I would suggest there’s only one person currently on this thread taking everything far too seriously, and it’s the person writing an essay about his Joe Root obsession every time he posts.

Yes and they hate being called out for their hypocrisy. One was sitting on a horse brandishing a riding crop in her profile photo and another one was wearing a massive fur hat and coat.

The majority are all of a certain age, and, as you say, are posing with their cats. However, they can’t contend with having the piss taken out of them. I guess that they thought a football supporter’s page was comparable to a genteel Women’s Institute meeting.
